Journey deep into the heart of our wine cave to Cellar 47, an intimate lounge named for the 47 estate acres we farm in the Stags Leap District. This enriching experience begins with a guided tour of our underground cave system, followed by a seated tasting of our highly limited Stags Leap District estate Cabernet Sauvignons. Learn about our winemaking process, cave aging, and why the region we call home produces world-class wines. This experience can accommodate up to 10 people.

Cabernet Cave Tasting

Descend into our Cabernet Cave for a seated, semi-private tasting tucked within our European-inspired caves. Surrounded by barrels 130 feet underground, you’ll explore a curated selection of Pine Ridge Vineyard’s Cabernet Sauvignons from across Napa Valley renowned appellations. This experience can accommodate up to 8 people.

Explorer’s Tour & Tasting: A Vineyard to Cave Experience

Immerse yourself in the full vineyard-to-cave journey. Begin with a guided walk through our vineyard archway for sweeping estate views and an introduction to the Stags Leap District. Take Interstate 80 East towards Sacramento/Reno. Exit Highway 37 towards Napa. Continue on Highway 37 and exit Highway 29 Napa/Sonoma Boulevard, turn right onto Highway 29. Continue north on Highway 29 and turn right on Oak Knoll Avenue. Oak Knoll Avenue jogs left (north) at Big Ranch Road, then continues east to Silverado Trail. Turn left at Silverado Trail, heading north, and continue for three miles. After a gentle curve to the left you’ll find our main entrance on the left.
From Sacramento
Take Interstate 80 West towards San Francisco. Exit Highway 12 towards Napa. Turn right at Highway 29 and continue north. Turn right on Oak Knoll Avenue. Oak Knoll Avenue jogs left (north) at Big Ranch Road, then continues east to Silverado Trail. Turn left at Silverado Trail, heading north, and continue for three miles. After a gentle curve to the left you’ll find our main entrance on the left.
From Calistoga
Go south on Highway 128/29. Turn left at Madison Street in Yountville to Yount Street, turn left. Take next right onto Yountville Cross Road. Continue east to Silverado Trail and turn right. Drive south on Silverado Trail for 1.7 miles, the main entrance is on the right.
Reservations are strongly encouraged as they fill quickly, especially on weekends. Please book early to ensure there is availability for your preferred date. You can book Estate Tastings, your complimentary experience, directly online or by calling wine club concierge.

Pine Ridge Vineyards offers three types of experiences: a 60-minute Estate Tasting experience, a 90-minute Cave Tasting, and a 2-hour immersive tour and tasting, which begins in the vineyard and ends with a seated tasting in our wine caves.
Yes, we are dog-friendly. Well-behaved pets are welcomed in our garden and terrace area. They must be leashed at all times. We unfortunately cannot accommodate pets in the caves or for our other elevated experiences.
We do allow outside food or non-alcoholic beverages for garden reservations.
